Question .htaccess what am i missing
    Here's what I have:

    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .htm .html
    AddType text/html .shtml
    AddHandler server-parsed .htm
    AddHandler server-parsed .html
    AddHandler server-parsed .shtm
    AddHandler server-parsed .shtml

    Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes
    AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .cgi

This works. I can pull up a page in php and it does what it is supposed to do but when I pull up the page in html it comes up but shows my php code.

If I add - ForceType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm - I get an internal error page.

So is there something else I need to do to get my pages to come up as html instead of php or am I misunderstanding the concept completely.

    Have you tried:

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm

    AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html

That is the only line I have and I have never had a problem so far.

    Thanks Mr. Sal,

That wasn't the answer but the key was in the answer "that is the only line that worked for me." I took everything out and started putting them in one at a time and trying them out.

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .htm .html This is the only line I needed in case someone else has the same problem.
