    Exclamation yahoo UPDATE?
Yahoo seems to be undergoing a major algo shift?
So far my large dynamic datafeed site is getting squashed- but my smaller 'handmade' sites seem to be doing much better. Probably taking the place of others large datafeed sites..

I was going to say if there is an update they would post it here:

    http://www.ysearchblog.com/

Then i did some searches and i am seeing some major shifting. A key phrase for one of my sites is back where it's supposed to be on page 1

Just checked out Webmasterworld and somebody started a Yahoo Update thread, so lots of people are seeing some changes.

Simcat what you posted, it looks like others are seeing the same thing:

"My site just dropped from over 3000 pages listed to 8"

"I just saw one of my dynamic sites go from 2000 pages indexed to 4.
My smaller static sites seem to be doing quite a bit better."

    hey trust...
I seem to recall a promised big change that was supposed to happen at yahoo a 3 or 4 weeks ago but never materialized. Maybe this is it?

Are these sites losing a lot of pages from the index data-driven or template type sites?

My sites that are doing worse with this update are static datafeed driven websites. A bit to be expected but still not good of course (for me).

Yahoo hates all my sites except my blogs, regardless of design, content level, technology (or lack of it) used, or affiliate-ness. But, that's nothing new.

It's obvious they wouldn't know a good site if I beat 'em over the head with some.

My traffic is going to be horrible today, Yahoo loves my sites and my major one that had over 200 pages indexed now has one, hope this goes quickly.

My Yahoo traffic is pretty level on most of my sites. I just have this one site that's on the incline. This particular site was doing extremely well in Yahoo before April, but it tapered quite a bit. I've attached a screenshot. Now I just hope it continues in this direction!!

I checked my stats this morning and I had a 100% traffic jump! Mine are all datafeed affiliate sites. Just added a bunch of new feeds and am now seeing traffic from them!

Yahoo used to hate me too Leader!

Something's not right at Yahoo. I did several searches for keywords that normally bring up my site...and they brought up nothing!

    The error message reads:
    Oops!

We ran into a temporary problem while performing your search. Please try your search again.

    Yahoo confirmed the update

    http://www.ysearchblog.com/archives/000158.html

"The changes will be a little more intense than the second weather report and changes will continue over the next week or two."

I've been getting a lot of those Oops errors too. One was when I was trying the same search that someone used to find me.
