    How do I decide?
Ok guys, I have a tiny problem. I was doing some digging around with a particular keyword and I think I may have stumbled upon something good good. There are over 2 000 000 pages for this keyword, no google ads (USA and Canada only). Using google tools there are 510 clicks per day for this word, cost cost per day $1400. I am thinking about creating a landing page just for this product. So my question is how does one know when to create a adwords campaign? What are the key ingredients one should look for before you begin successful adwords campaign? Should I take up the challenge for this product?
I will be looking forward for your responses. Thank you.

Test it out, what have you got to lose besides a few bucks? You don't need to spend $1400.

If there are no bids for a popular term there could be some other reason it's empty, like restrictions on bidding on trademarks. Take a good look for things like that before putting effort into a landing page.

What's the keyword? (You can PM me. )

LOL at sjangro... thank you very much sjangro. So you are saying that this word deserves a shot then. I know I would not spend more than $100 a day. I can even start my clicks at 5 cents per click. There is something you said about trade marks, I have to look that up in a while. There are ads of sponsored ads for this product on MSN and Yahoo. My palms are sweaty as I get excited. Commissions for this product are $15.47 per sale.WOW. Thanks for the greenlight sjangro.

510 clicks per day at $1400 when nobody else is bidding is impossible. That is $2.74 per click. If nobody else is bidding the term, create an Adwords campaign for it, bid a nickel and you should get all impressions and only pay a nickel a click.
If you can satisfy these 510 shoppers and maintain a....6% closing ratio on a 25% PPC CTR you are going to make some good money.
At an average commission of $15, a CR of 6% will make you $459 per day on a $6.38 spend. I call that a healthy ROI!!

Honest to god, I am, not lying uncle. Here are the stats below
    Avg. Position 1.1
    Clicks / Day 510.0
    Cost / Day $864.57
    Avg. CPC $1.70
    Max CPC: USD $3.63
    Recommended daily budget: USD $1,300.00

Am I breaking any laws here for Google, guys tell me now so I can undo this quickly. This is just to show the facts. It still baffles me how out of thousands of thousands people online in the USA and Canada only 510 are looking for this product and you experts are saying these are good grounds to start a campaign.hmmmm. How accurate is this traffic estimator at google? Is is possible they can inflate these numbers to make you spend?

My god, you are good at maths, huh. I dont need $459 a day!! Unclescooter where I come from, just earning $500 a week, and I could live comfortably, for real.
I am really encouraged to begin something with this, I am very very busy at work so I have to wait until later tonight. Now I am going to look for other keywords to go with this.
    Thakns again..

The estimator is notoriously bad. You never know until you try it. But, if there are no other ads, you should be able to get the top (only) spot for a $0.05 bid. Give it a shot.

That's OK. Sometimes 5th or 6th position is better than the top...and cheaper. No need to pay a lot to be #1.

    Yea..ok that work too.....
About that keyword...The max bid have doubled...For a while I was the only one promoting that product on Google. now I have 18 competition. I guess the word spread thet this product is good. As a matter of fact, I should not be surprised, I first saw it on Tv and my eyes light up. The Tv program was repeated and I guess that is when the affiliate marketing masses caught on and saw the potential and joined the bandwagon.

Annyhow I will be searching for more goldmines out there.
