    Exclamation SAS 1-2-3 affiliate guildbook
Hello to SAS merchants and affiliates.

We have now joined SAS and are requesting experienced guildance.

How about a simple 1,2,3,4,5, things to do - that is set out to successfully turn this association into a success.

Also a list of tools that may be available directly related to working as a merchant.

What is it exactly that you are looking for? A "three-step guide" for your affiliates or a "three-step guide" for yourself (as a merchant)? If the former, then my 1-2-3 advise to affiliates (that want to succeed) would be: join - get & import datafeed - SEO pages with products. If, however, you're looking for a "three-step guide" for merchants, I'm afraid it's not that simple here (not that it is simple for affiliates; you can simplify it for them, whereas you can't do it for yourself). You have to look into many things, consider many factors, do a lot of work... to succeed as a merchant. + You have to be prepared to study, learn and 'perfectionalize' the methods of your work on daily basis.

Best of luck to you, colleague!

    Hi Geno,

Thanks for you response..and yes I'm mainly looking at a merchant point of view.

But then its the affiliates who are the target of the merchant sale 'to join em up' so obviously the affiliate has the insight to my question.

What I got from what you say is No# 1 - study and be prepared to learn!

Obviously there is alot to learn but it surely can be reduced to general basics of 1,2,3,4, or at least what has worked for you type of approach.

So ideally; exact strong principles or even tools (on and off line) must exist and I'd like this tread to pull them out and condense here into one place.

Or is it more likey successful methods are kept successful by keeping them silent?

    Chow for now!

Actually, such is my personal observation around here... However, if you read a lot (around this board), you will learn a LOT of good stuff (that you can use in your affiliate program right away, motivating more and more affiliates to join and sell)!

    Good luck to you!
