I heard about "Free-For-All" link exchange / banner exchange sites and would like to know what you guys think of them. I know they probably do not bring very much "Good" traffic to your site, but hey, traffic is traffic, right? I think i might try one just to see what happens

why are they so bad? Is it because they give you untargeted traffic? Because they will use your site/email to spam?
Just Currious as to why everyone is against it.

Besides the fact that it's mostly designed as an email harvester ????
Your site's PR and SERP is only as good as your backlinks and site content, you think ABW would rank as high as it is if it had hairstyling and beauty sites linking to it? Relevancy and Quality is what your looking for.
A FFA backlink is like a toga party at Caligula's house .... just some freaky shoot that will just get you in trouble in the short and long term.
