    Lost site
I lost one of my sites about a year ago and have been rebuilding it. Of course I cant remember all of the info on it. I found a back up of the index page, tons of links and no info for them lol. Sure wish I knew where all the other backups were. I know I have them, but cant find them anywhere.

Someone told me there is a place on the web that archives sites, is this true? If so where is it? Is there a chance some of my long lost info could be saved somewhere waiting for me? (crossing fingers) Getting hopeful, probably too much lol.

To ensure your site isn't lost again, you might want to learn how to Furl. Furl's primary function is as a bookmark manager, but I feel it might be useful for saving sites that might get lost.

Basically when you "furl it" you are actually storing coppies of web pages to its own servers, so you can always go back to a prior copy. Kind of a system restore for the web

(From what i understand that is how furl works, please correct me if i am wrong)

Glad I finally helped someone. I remembered that from a book I read called "Google Power." It shows you a lot of web search related tricks.
