    I thought I was doing good, making a few sales here and there. Until the reversals...

    Two months, all transactions reversed.

    They reversed sales from ten weeks back
    They reversed my sales that were made ten weeks ago. They did it twice. So, needles to say, I dropped them.

    Like strawberrynet's feed, I'm redirecting traffic that would have gone to Deckers to another merchant.

    I added decker's name to the list of other bad merchants on all my feed pages.

    With word of mouth and so many affiliate boards up, you would think a merchant wouldn't be this dumb.

    I am not a Deckers' affiliate but you say they reversed sales after 10 weeks!! Hows that possible? were they not locked on the 10th of the following month? I mean even if the merchant has a 30-day return policy, still they can extend the transaction just once...for thirty days?
    Am I guessing right?

    I just got a reversal - reason - bad credit card

    Original order is from JUNE!

    It takes them TWO MONTHS to spot a bad credit card????????????

    My merchant server doesn't even allow a customer to get to step two of the process!!

    So...

    I check June reports to confirm there was an actual sale that matched the reversal, and what did I see???

    Each and every sale for Teva in June is EXTENDED!!!

    Does not look good for Deckers...

    It amazes me what can take place via the internet that would ordinarily land people in jail. Reversing sales for invalid reasons is fraud and possibly imbezzlement, plain and simple.

    If a bank owner did the equivalent by skimming off a few cents off each transaction they would face jail big time!

    affiliate4all, I mispoke. It was nine weeks. Made sales on June 1, and got them reversed on August 9. They never sent the payments that were made in June the following month.

    The hell with them. I'll just use their feeds to redirect visitors to another merchant.

    I don't know about all of you but it seems like there was some sort of error that all of a sudden was reversed.....but it seems to be all good now as I have a bunch of orders that came back.

    Before everyone goes wacky....lets wait to see what the AM has to say.....you never know what happened.....remember the assumption theory, so settle down.

    CJ has been having some problems with reversals.

    I emailed an AM of another program and she had no idea why I had some reversed leads. It took a couple of days but I got credited with the leads again. She blamed CJ... not sure if that was the case but I believe her (she was very professional in handling the whole issue).

    Talk with the AM, as Diddy says, before you blow a gasket.

    Here's what their AM said to my complaints:

    Wow thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. I'm really sorry about the high reversal rate. I like to process reversals a day or two sooner than the cut-off date in case mistakes happen and it looks like it paid off. After your email I double and triple checked reversals and noticed that during the process, I overlooked one detail that caused some transactions to be reversed that shouldnt have been. Ive gone through all the transactions and manually fixed these in CJ so you should see any transactions that shouldnt have been reversed credited back to you (as a separate transaction though). Im really, really sorry about this but thanks again a lot for bringing this to my attentionyou single-handedly just made our program so much stronger as I know Ill never make this mistake again! I also double checked all the past several months to ensure I hadnt made the same mistake and those months are correct. Let me know if you have any questions about this or anything else at all. I understand that who you link to is very much a business decision, but I hope you decide to continue to work with Deckers. Have a good one!

    I did not identify myself so she doesn't know who I am with CJ. As of last night, I did see one transaction come back. I just thought it was a straggler but it must be one of the ones she put back in.

    I think that it was an honest mistake, it has been fixed (YAY for ME), and at least Ms Romero reacted, fixed it and took responsibility for the mistake.

    In Diddy's eyes....this is a good thing as we all know that many AM's would lose their heads if they weren't attached and taking responsibility is a class they missed at college, the opted to hang out at the "Pass the Buck" cafe. I appreciate your honesty and you have earned my respect, I will continue to send my links your way.

    Shows the integrity of Deckers and their management.

    Both the extended sales and reversals have reasons - I'm satisfied - and KR remains one of the good AMs in my book

    That said...

    It would be nice if we rec'd a one sentence reason on the CJ reports so that when this stuff happens... we don't immediately get up in arms

    Yet she sent you an e-mail saying she fixed your problem???

    Was that a magic trick that was performed, or am I missing something here?

    I have little patience, and I always notice that a lot of the AM's (NOT AL OF THEM) fix the "problems" when and only when they are posted on the board for everyone to see.

    I could be wrong with this AM, but since I am making sales with their feed pages going to another merchant, the heck with it.
