    ABW Network
    Haiko,

Have you ever concidered teaming up with some of the honest industry leaders from ABW who you can trust to build a non parasite, 100% legitamate affiliate network?

You certainly have the resources to create one, and a succesfull one at that. Not sure if that interests you but has it ever crossed your mind? It would definatly be a large project to accomplish, but it would prove to be well worth it IMO.

He started down that road but it never opened. It would have been interesting to see TrueTracker ( sp? ) debut.... personally, I think it would be difficult for Haiko to run an affiliate network AND ABW, that might be seen as a conflict of interest with the other networks....
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

I wonder what would be more work.... Babysitting us and the merchants as forum subscribers, or babysitting us as affiliate merchants and affiliate marketers...

Yes, it would be difficult for him to manager it... that's where some of the fellow AWBers come in handy. Maybe some of the mods like Kellie, Leader, Andy maybe? It definatly wouldn't be a one man show.

Keep in mind, I trust shareasale.com implicitly. Brian has 100% of my trust.

Yeah that's the one thing I was thinking about... most people here are very loyal to shareasale.

TrueTracker - reliable. Here is how it works: you replace all your affiliate ids with mine, and I promise to let you know, truthfully, how much money I made off your hardwork. The thiefware sites don't give you that info, but I will!

Seriously, sounds like a good idea. I think the trusted merchants thing Haiko did was a good idea in the right direction. In a sense, that might be considered a "network", or "merchants to promote".
