    Exclamation Meteor Showers - tonight!!!
Take a break and check it out!!

I got this from AOL skywatch -

See the Perseid Meteors Aug. 11-13
The Perseid meteor shower puts on a great show every August. This year the peak should be visible two nights: Aug. 11-12 and Aug. 12-13. You could see a meteor per minute! So if you're vacationing in an area that has dark nights, with little light pollution, make a point of watching for the Perseids.

AOL Editor's Note: One of the largest meteor showers, the Perseids, will peak on the nights of Aug. 11-12 and Aug. 12-13. You could see about one meteor every minute; the Perseids can appear all across the sky.

It is best to start watching after 11PM local time; you may see more meteors after midnight, as most showers provide the best show in the pre-dawn hours.

Thanks! I am indeed heading out on a mini vacation into the country, about 200 miles from any sizeable city, this weekend and am so glad you mentioned this.

I will be spending the next two nights at a gathering. Maybe, I will see it tomorrow night!

    That would be great!

And, may the blessings of this time of first harvest fill all your homes with abundance!

That would be fun. A few years back (2001, i guess) I went backpacking the White Mountains with a friend to catch the leonid meteor shower. It was just amazing but was biting cold.. really really cold.
