Anyone else get one?

Yeah, I got one too. Been with them sometime, too.
Not a loss. In fact, by removing them I'll probably increase my sales of other merchants. I've always thought LL Bean bled some sales away from two other prime merchants I had - but for some reason felt obligated to keep them up.

I never could find a way to even apply to their program. They're one of the most closed programs I've come across. I think you guys were lucky just to get in in the first place.

did they issue just a straight bye-bye, or any hint they were closing their affil program, or hints of a move coming up?
the problem with them is that their mail order program has done so well and they have an extremely good reputation. guess they measure ROI based on new-customer acquisition via the affiliates. Sooner or later you need to wait for the next generation.

They have a very high threshold for active affiliates. I had steady, but low sales with them at LS, and was dropped a couple of years ago. These folks want performers - period.
The question is, are they worth the effort if one is going to get canceled - even with sales?
