Wouldn't be better if an affiliate network makes a tracking combination of affiliate's url and ID. In other words submitting all the sites an affiliate will use.
Current solution with ID only is obviously very vulnerable. In a case of url/id combo, parasiteware would need not only to rewrite cookies/insert another ID, but to rewrite http referer too, which is not impossible, but more difficult.
Besides, doing that gives much more certainity in legal actions against crooks.
With right support we could make a pressure on at least big aff networks to implement this and make it as an option, as sometimes there are cases where ID is only workable solution.

I think "support" is the key word. Those who accept the parasites now aren't looking for an idea to "support" stopping them. They have the ability to stop them now but merely refuse to stop them. Those hefty commission checks "support" their lifestyle and they don't see much need to "support" other affiliate opinions.
