    Brian quetsion about Bonus's
    Brian;
    When our new website is live I want to run bonus's for inactive and active affiliates.
    I assume that they can be paid by SAS along with their commissions.

    How do I do that? As a sale? I assume that SAS does not take a % of that,as they do for sales. am I correct?

    Thanks,

    Richard

    Since SAS's network fee is 20% of all commissions paid, I would assume that they would charge a percent on bonuses as well. Otherwise, what's to keep a merchant from paying a 0% commission and a huge bonus just to avoid the network fees?

    bonuses as well.
    Yes, even on the bonus. I've always known that, basically do not mind giving SAS the extra, its not really that much and worth it so that they use the extra funds to keep improving the network with our suggestions.

    Ok,
    thanks but Brian can you confirm for sure?
    Also how does one add bonus's? Same way we manually add sales?

    Richard,

    Yes - you add bonuses via the "Post Manual Commission" link - the ShareASale fee does apply for the exact reason that Michael has pointed out... believe it or not there have been merchants in the past that tried doing what he described...
    Thanks,
