August 18th, 2005, 03:03 PM #1EverythingFurniture categories gone from GCan Feed!
I just noticed this morning that the categories and sub-categories are missing from the GoldenCan feed for EverythingFurniture.com. I chose the option to build an "entire store" and there were loads of categories when I originally created the store about a week ago, but now it only has "A" and "Furniture" with absolutely no sub-categories.
Asif can you please check to see what has gone wrong? Thanks

Thanks so much for the heads up. Just called and emailed Asif, he must be out.
Perhaps Asif is changing or updating something. I updated our feeds last night so perhaps something changed. But last update nothing happened so waiting for Asif to verify.
I'll keep checking and let you know soon.

Thanks - hope it is fixed soon because as it is now visitors to the store would have to wade through hundreds of pages to find anything, unless they do a search.

For some reason the datafeed uploaded to SAS direct from yahoo yesterday was missing the categories. I downloaded a new one last night and verified the categories are there this time.
I just sent a new one to SAS to upload. I will update here later when ready and after I verify that it looks good in GoldenCAN, etc.
You can also verify here too: http://jrami.com/ef-goldencan.html

Thanks for keeping me up to date on this. I will check again later to see if it's working, as it still seems to be the same at this moment.

The datafeeds for both everythingfurniture and everythingofficefurniture have been updated in SAS as of 6:30pm today. It will probably be updated in GoldenCAN by Sunday morning.
Asif and I will verify again to make sure.
