Do you guys like my new Domain?
    http://www.geekdiscounts.com

Just bought her plan to make a datafeed site and coupon site and feature tech products from CC, Buy.com and if Tiger Direct had a datafeed them too but they don't so I won't and that Gus guy can keep his spiff.

    Very nice

I see the relation with your other site

As for TD, I remember somewhere that there was a datafeed somewhere out there. I'm sure that someone here knows where it is hiding.

Yes, it's a good Domain Name, and you're lucky that it was available.

And since we're talking about GeekDiscounts.com, I can resist to be the first one to ask you this: So if someone that is not a Geek go to your new site and buy something, they're not going to receive any Discounts?

    Sounds good Geek,

Are you going to do price comparison? Definitely the way to go in this market.

Good luck! It's no easy task doing a price comparison, but when done right it can be incredibly valuable. I've been working on my system alone for over a year and a half and it's finally just now starting to take shape.

Here's a related thread you might want to check out. It's nice to see a price comparison discussion between comparison webmasters.

The "near-monopoly" model earns the biggest fortune of all. Just ask M$

Yes, another TD datafeed would be something we can all relish. Someone needs to keep bother Gus about it. Everyone - please start writing Gus right away - we need that feed!!!

I tried to bother brother Gus about it and he said some people abused it and that it was only available to a few affiliates.

Then someone posted that TD had abused it when they made a crap load of sites using it.

It is interesting what time and differing perspecives can make out of a situation. First, Gus has no blame/responsibility for what happened with the TD datafeed, or the Darték feed for that matter. Suffice it to say - it was a very dissapointing mess. It is also dissapointing that Gus admitted that there are a few affiliates who still have the feed. The finger needs to be pointed squarely at TD upper management, but I am not going to get into that.

If the TD feed is offered to anyone here, they would do well if they avoided it at all costs. That is of course, just my opinion.
