    Lightbulb Sas Premier
Would it not be great if the SAS crew would start a new quality network?

    $500 to join
    25% vig
    Merchants must be auto deposit

Affiliates must test their link in 30 days or they are auto trashed.

    Just a thought.

    1) You mean instead of or in addition to the current network?

    2) What is vig?

No it wouldn't. For those who want to be snooty, they've already got the Premier division, which has higher requirements than the "regular" network for both merchants and affiliates. http://shareasale.com/premier/ The merchant requirements for that include (among other things) auto-deposit, and keeping $200 in the account at all times.

I don't think adding any more barriers or "new" networks would be productive, especially considering that there's already Premier. Also, I would rather have my merchants spending their money on COMMISSIONS, not some phony network fee.

On another note...dittos to "what is 'vig?'"

    Thank you Leader.
    I'm old and forget things.
In the back of my mind I seem to remember something like this.

    >snooty
That is exactly what I'm looking for. Something that will set BDS apart from the many SAS merchants I read rants about at ABW. I think that is smart not snooty.

    VIG
House Edge % or vig comes from the casino industry.
I use the term to describe what % the networks take from the merchant.

I always thought they should throw all the lower end merchants at SAS on over to Fineclicks, which they own. There are some real good merchants at SAS but sometimes it takes some digging because there are also a lot of crap merchants surrounding them.

    From the Mobspeak lossary:

vig: the interest payment on a loan from a loanshark (short for "vigorish"). Synonym: juice.

There's a reason army's wear uniforms even though it makes them easier to spot. Sometimes that's what you want. Uniforms suggest organization, power, and numbers. These, in turn, inspire fear. And, as any good operative knows, there is no more effective weapon than fear.

    Premier SAS
I'm always looking to expand my services for JobPosting.ws and ad campaigns through Shareasale.com. I'm glad that someone mentioned they have a Premier program. I think this is wonderful, I'm going to look further into it.

    Thanks,
    William Tucker

Dud SAS merchants sure aren't the only ones ranted about on ABW, and cost is no barrier to bad merchants. Look at the amount of money paid by dudball merchants at other networks, and you'll see that cost is no barrier to those intent on being bad merchants. Parasite-ridden, tracking-off, nonconverting duds make it into the expensive networks just fine...unfortunately.

All a cost barrier does is make it hard on startups!

That is exactly what I'm looking for. Something that will set BDS apart from the many SAS merchants I read rants about at ABW. I think that is smart not snooty.
Well it may set BDS apart, but definitely not as being "smart!"

I can think of a lot of things I'd call a merchant who demands to pay more--just to see everyone else suffer--and not a single one of them are flattering. "Snooty" was just the milder term I came up with.
