    Ad blocking cable companies??
Does anyone know if there are cable companies blocking CJ links??

I have run into 2 customers one in OK and one in CA using Cox net, who are unable to click through the links. I have tested from here and they are fine.
They see a blank page when clicking through.

How many customers just go somewhere else when this happens? And how many take the trouble to tell they cannot get through?

I'm on Cox. This is what they sent me:

    Our new security software includes:

•Anti-Virus protection for your PC, it detects viruses on demand
•Firewall software helps keep unwanted Internet users from accessing your machine
•Parental Controls help filter the sites your kids are visiting and set time limits for Internet use
•Anti-Spyware software detects programs that invade your privacy and affect PC performance
•Pop-Up Blocker provides a pest free surfing experience.
It's optional, you have to go into your account to set it up.

How much you wanna bet since CJ is listed as spyware in so many places, this is yet more fallout?

Geezer, are the links the Cox users have problems with set to open in a new window?

Some security software consider these links Pop-Ups and will prevent action if they are clicked on.

I have seen all kinds of ISP's blocking CJ links..
I have an opt in newsletter and sometimes I get complaints that the "cj link" does not work or does not show.. even when the user requested the e-mail specifically regarding products.

But what can you expect when CJ links are in every parasitic spyware adware toolbar on the planet..?? It's BAD for business but their to greedy to see that associating themselves with these scam artists will continue to get them blocked by reputable companies trying to protect their users..

Just another reason that the Honest webmasters cannot compete fairly..
I have also seen the "NEW" urls that CJ has showing up as well..
Another year and every CJ link will be blocked..

There is nothing you can do.. the Networks have to see that keeping themselves as far away from any "TOOLBAR" BHO Parasite is the best thing for their NAME and keeping in good standing is the only way to survive in this business...

I cannot believe that they did not take action when Norton started blocking their links..
When some of their Affiliates "SOFTWARE" shows up as Adware Spyware on Symantecs Website they did not DROP the affiliates.. it's just bad for business all the way around..

Microsoft now has a roving Anti-Spyware BOT called a Honeytrap seeking out all those CJ parasitic partners doing drive-by and hidden bundling installs. Following the money trail is the MS security team and their Fed partners. CJ will have to change direction or face the music that all their BHO's employ devious infestation partners.

    Kevin,

The links are in fact set to open in a new window. Been doing this for 4 years!

I add this to the url

    onclick="NewWindow(this.href,'name','780','450','yes');return false;"

Do not seem to have any problems with other cable companies, but I beleive that some adblocking programs do the same thing.

I stand corrected. It is a honeybucket BOT scraping more driveby install crap loads then a Port-o-Let at a NAScar event.
