Just received this e-mail from affiliatewindow team :
Due to recent fraudulent activity by five of our affiliate partners, we have been forced to undertake an urgent review of our Affiliate Window program.
We apologise in advance for the inconvenience, but in order to keep offering our products to legitimate affiliates, we need to carry out a screening process to enable us to verify the identity of each affiliate partner before re-instating you as an affiliate, and approving any sales submitted via your site.
With that in mind, please reply to this e-mail within 48 hours giving the following details:
A contact name
Daytime telephone number at which the contact can be reached (we will be calling all applicants)
Your business's UK trading address (full address including post code)
The URL displaying our banner
If we do not receive this information in full by 1730hrs on Friday, we will assume that you no longer wish to take part in our program and will remove you as a partner.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Something must have terribly gone wrong. And I thought only SEs are subject to fraud to that extent. Are we expecting something dramatic now...

Nice of them to give their affiliates so much notice. Hopefully none of the legitimate ones are out of town on vacation, unable to comply with the directions.
Guess it must have been something really bad, but this seems like throwing out the baby with the bath water.
What the heck is the "special user group"?
