Does this site have an Affiliate Program?
    http://www.rentmydaughter.com

I think I could make a huge amount of money with them. I wonder if they have a datafeed.

Just Kidding I hope the site isn't even real and just a joke site.

Not a joke. It was in the news a few months ago. Pretty screwed up parents that sign their kids up for this...

I kind of get the feeling it is for real. Here are a couple of feedback quotes:

I recently used your services and am VERY impressed! The girl was professional and her parents were a great help too. I had a compamy picnic and was trying to impress a female coworker. I said I was watching my sister's kid and really poured on the sensitivity. Let's just say that last month we got engaged! Thanks RentMyDaughter!
A couple months ago my son came to me and was very upset that all his friends were going to a school dance, but he was embarrased because he didn't have anyone to go with. Your service really came through in a pinch!
And then there are the listings:

About Me: ... I love swimming and want to be on the high school swim team in a few years. Now that the summer is coming I hope this website will have some people throwing pool parties. I did this last summer and have been complimented on how I make unpopular or unattractive boys feel comfortable and have fun in the pool at their parties.

Any parent who would use their kids like this should be lobotomized, branded, and put on a chain gang for the remainder of their life. Dead branches on the tree of evolution.

That's just downright scary, although I wouldn't mind renting out MY teenage daughter for a few YEARS ... I would PAY to have someone else put up with her!

Their FAQ says their lawyers have combed their contracts with a fine toothed comb. Still, how can anyone seriously consider this?!

NYFalcon - LOL: "rentmypet.com" - you can bet that'll be next. And then I'll put my peeing, neurotic doxie up for rent. He's cute and sweet as can be but has bladder control issues. Anyone want to rent him for a kid's party? ;-)

I don't know which is scarier, that someone came up wiht this idea or the fact that parents are actually signing their kids up for it!

That is totally sick. And scary too, imagine parents hiring out their innocent minor children for escort service.

A lot of people are figuring this isn't for real. If it's not, it's hilarious. If it is, it's pathetic. Anything to make a buck, huh? I'll stick to AM and pretend I have ethics. LOL

Address may exist, but the corporation doesn't.

RentMySon is a subsidiary of ChildNet Services, with its corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA. link
If you do a search of CA corporations, there is no ChildNet Service Corp...

Very bloody nice. So they say they check against sex offender records, bla bla bla... I guess if you're hiring a date for your not quite filled out teenage girl, she might lose her virginity at no extra charge if the boy takes pity on her. Absolutely awful! I've always believed you should have to pass a test and get a license to have kids. Too many people don't deserve such a blessing....

Sorry, but this really gets my ire up!

It's definitely a hoax. Here's the DMOZ entry for their other site, RentMySon.com:

    Under "Hoax Sites":

"Rent My Son - Service information from a child rental agency. [Contains fictitious information]"

The sad thing is that it's believable.

ok - I just looked at that horrible BonsaiKitten.com site and now feel nauseous and dizzy.

That is possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life - and I'm praying it's NOT real.

Ditto with rentmydaughter - if that's real that's just well... WRONG!

Ok - I feel a bit better having said all that.
