    Todd;
    See the other topic posted in this section regarding GadgetUniverse.com links not working. Is this a temporary thing, or more serious? They are one of my most popular links. Thanks
    Ken

    Bump!

    It gave me an excuse to whack some OverSure listings, but still--are they coming back or not?!?

    They were a good performer!

    I don't know what is going on with GadgetUniverse. We have been trying to contact them since late last week. I had hoped that they would have returned our calls and emails by now. Their website is still down so we are going to temporarily deactivate them until we can find out what is going on.

    If you have Gadget Universe links on your page, they seem to be working again now (8PM), and they will take you to the proper destination and show the referral codes, however, CJ still has them listed as "deactivated". Maybe it was a technical problem and they will be officially "re-activated" tomorrow. I could be wrong, but I think this happened before.

    Todd,

    How many clicks were wasted in that week?

    What is the compensation schedule for the clicks during the down time? ... Sorry to be an _ss but we have bills to pay also! AHEM!

    What...they're not deactivated..they are deactivated..give me a break!

    I've spent the better part of the day pulling down links and putting links back up for another merchant who did the two step shuffle last month!

    Looks like they were messing with the site. Did you guys see the new splash page? http://www.gadgetuniverse.com

    (I'm not too thrilled with it but as long as I get the credit, whether people type in their catalog # isn't going to worry me...although that part STINKS because then people will be more likely to come direct next time!)

    I had left the links up, but the OverSure listings for them are gone. I'm not going to try to get that relisted there--Over's too much hash!

    Hopefully they will stick around now, anyway...

    Now the links take you to the default CJ page for de-activated merchants. Still not sure if its worth spending the time removing all the links. Duncan YoYo did the same thing a couple of months ago, they were deactive for about 2 weeks and then were re-activated the day after I finally removed the links. This really sux. A was going to do several new pages dedicated to their products. Anybody got a recommendation for other "gadget" links similar to Gadget Universe?
