Banner Across ALL pages on site?
I was looking to add red-cross banners across the top of ALL pages and wondered if anyone knows if you can do this with apache... mod-rewrite or something?

    Thanks!

Good question, I'd like to know myself. I currently use a single PHP include file for the header banner so I change once and that's it.

What you could do is include a file wherever you want on your sites when you do not need it leave the file on your server but leave it blank this way it can be updated whenever and everything is already in place to utilise it.

Yeah, I just didn't want to edit hundreds of pages to add the include

I tried this perl script, but it doesn't work for me http://www.germesia.com/freescripts/hfr/

What you're looking for can be done with PHP AUTO PREPEND.

I noodled around with it a while back, and it did work (even on non-php pages, despite what some tutorials said). Your server itself does have to be php-enabled, but most are these days...

I forgot the syntax though. Google or the PHP docs can take it from here, if someone doesn't have further clue train tickets.
