Angry What The !?!?!#! Hell is Going on!?!?!#!
Ever since that STUPIED & CRAPPY reporting upgrade my ebay sales have been total crap, what is really going on with cj? ask and u just get the same story that every thing is under control and being tracked blah-blah, so come on somebody in the know - what is actually happening behind the scenes???
1)ebay not tracking or not telling cj about all the active registrations?
2)cj not doing there job properly?
3)Katrina stopped sales but not clicks?

The affiliates do all the hard work of promoting but are always the one's who lose out, guaranteed if it was me who had messed-up i wud be getting my ass kicked by ebay or cj!

So come on cj and sort it out and look after your affiliates cuz without us there wud be no cj!

My sales for my main merchant were better than usual after the first couple of days of the update then after that they tanked. .

My sentiments exactly. In all the years I've promoted eBay, I've never seen so few bids, BINs, and ACRUs come through. I don't believe for one second that there isn't an issue somewhere!

Uhh.... this more than likely isn't CJ's fault. They typically don't randomly reverse transactions. Of course, if they reverse because they allowed the merchant to go on credit and the merchant never paid up, then that's a different story.

No but they'll drop your balance by random amounts with no corresponding transactions to account for the difference.

    CJ is f#cked up. Period.

when the upgrade came out, i opined that what cj did can be a business-ending event for cj. i got a few flacks in the process from a few ABW posters. i also said that CJ will start to feel the effects immediately next month.

    well, here it is.

There is a sweet irony in that
Julius, if it was shoes be glad it wasn't 45% or more.

I'm still waiting on an unresolved support ticket I posted two weeks ago. I was awarded a performance incentive in July, but it wasn't added to my balance. It wasn't paid in my July deposit and it still hasn't been paid to this day. Worse yet, I received another performance incentive from the same company in August and I've already received the deposit. Its as if July's performance incentive never happened. CJ isn't telling me anything... Note that this happened before the reporting update.

Over $1,000 has just disappeared off my balance at the top of the screen and all the reports - but no reverse transactions!! I phoned in a panic and was told the same - 'don't worry by monday night it should all be OK'.

    It had better come back.

"'don't worry by monday night it should all be OK'"

Yeah they said that a month ago.

I don't know why so many have the blind faith that everything is going to be OK. If the CJ folks didn't know how to fix it yesterday, they're not going to learn how to fix it in their sleep last night.

What is even better is finding your balance drop and upon running reports you find the reversals are from December of last year.. WTF is going on there?

Seems almost like a diversion to draw attention away from drops in reported sales. :Pirate:

Well, I just saw a slew of sales come in between 7-10 AM today (event date), that coming after a horrible day yesterday. I've asked this before of the CJ folks and never got a clear answer. Is it possible that the event date is not correct? Is the event date/time the ACTUAL event date/time of the sale, or is it the time it gets into tracking server (with some kind of delay, I guess).

    There goes the balance again.

At the current pace, I'll "owe" CJ money before the month is through.

As sick as it sounds, I hope more affiliate managers have severe problems with CJ...then affiliates can simply follow the good programs over to somewhere better.

Things still screwy here. There is just no way I would have this many actual sales today and so few yesterday. My sales are pretty consistant and this is way off. Obviously the Sale Date is not correct.

Today I have $360 worth of reversals from a merchant who never reversed anything all year.

    Email inquiries ignored as usual.

Sales are awful as they have been for me since mid July.

They may go somewhere *else,* but that doesn't mean it'll be "better" by any stretch. Just a day or two ago some merchant was reported to be going over to LinkSnare!

You all can't figure out whats going on here? Think about it....... Everytime CJ changes their reporting method it becomes more confusing and cumbersome to get the info you want. This just makes it easier for them to put some affiliate commissions in their pocket instead of yours. Think some more...... say they pay 5 million in commish every month. For every 1% they skim equals 50K. Wouldn't surprise me if they are skimming 5-10%. Big bucks. Think about it.............................

CJ! come to your senses before it's too late!
It was you who started this mess in the first place by tinkering with things that ain't broke. Only you can bring the sanity back by straightening out your priorities.
