    New Merchant called "PHP"
Actually they are called WhaBam! - one of today's new merchants at CJ

Apart from their site being coded in PHP, there is no apparent reason for them to be called PHP in the CJ system.

I doubt an intern would make a mistake like this - so it makes me wonder who is in charge of entering new merchants into the system?

The Keyword Link for WhaBam! has the same keywords listed as Protected, Recommended & Non-Compete. I'd contact support for clarification, except that it would be a Complete Waste Of Time!

I think the merchant itself is responsible for entering that stuff.

I also strongly suspect that the merchant enters the name used for their program. One merchant complained to me that I was using an "incorrect" way of writing their name. When I replied that I just ran the feed and used what was in the "programname" field...suddenly they went silent about the issue...

I saw that too. The "PHP" caught my eyes. I read through their merchant description and it didn't mention anything about the service they offer or what they're all about. Seems to be some sort of auction or marketplace site, but you can only tell that by looking at their site.

Now that makes sense - CJ is not involved in the process at all. Kinda like an un-moderated forum that costs a few $K to join

I wouldn't fancy trying to SEO a company with the same name as a programming language.. cripes!
