"It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black"
So, is this circling of the toilet bowl of the last 2 weeks a death spiral for CJ? Are we seeing the beginning of the end?

    1. Lack of any real information from CJ.

    2. Things that were supposedly fixed now not fixed.

    3. Reporting utterly broken.

    4. Site inaccessible for extended periods of time.

    5. Interface flakey and unstable.

    6. Overall timeframe that this update/outage has encompassed.

I realize that their programming team is one fat guy working out of his garage in India, but this performance is so abysmally poor on so many different levels.

It's abundantly clear that no testing was done prior to rollout. And for whatever reason CJ either will not or cannot roll back to the previous system while the problems are rectified.

The fact that they did not utilize a testbed environment for changes of this magnitude (or used one so poorly that it was effectively nonexistent) is staggering.

If I had been in charge of an update that rolled out like this, I (and several others) would have been fired about a week ago.

Heads need to roll and both affiliates and merchants alike deserve some assurances going forward.

    Enough already.

Perhaps this is the prelude to another Japanese takeover!

It's not a death spiral, but it is not good, just the same.

Hope sale figures correct themselves for yesterday. Worst day I've had in a very, very long time if it sticks.

Okay, it has gone from bad to worse. Saes from early this morning are staring to come in but sales from yesterday obviously are missing.

Hello, Hello? Is there anyone from CJ who can provide us with some TIMELY information on what is going on? I would not be upset if I thought reporting was just delayed, but this really appears to be more than just that.

Is it just me??? Anyone else seeing this same thing???

Ron, yesterday was the first day in close to a month that I didn't have any sales so it wasn't just you. I add sids to almost all of my links now which makes me wonder if my sids are showing up else where. I have a decent listing now for something that brings in several sales a day with CJ and traffic grows daily. I was surprised to see zeros yesterday.

Leads and sales have stopped for me completely. I had one advertiser that was converting 1 in 3 for me and the leads just stopped about the time the new reporting came about. The serps haven't changed. I am still number one for the keyword phrases/terms. Targetted traffic is still hitting the pages.

Well, as I have said before, "thankgoodness for Adsense"!

Well, my clicks were normal yesterday so that part of "tracking" is working okay.

I would not be so worried if sales just stopped reporting at, say, 5:00 pm. At least I would think they just need to catch up. What bothers me is I've had several sales come in during the early morning hours but where are the missing ones from yesterday?

If it's a prelude to anything, my guess is a sale to eBay. Don't know if that's in the works but it wouldn't surprise me if it happens.

My last transaction was 9-Sep-2005 11:05 PDT 9-Sep-2005 13:03 PDT. Nothing since then. Sales have been pretty steady though excepting for those "dark" periods inbetween.
