    New AMAZON phishing scam?
    Is nothing sacred??? Just got this email:

    Subj: Update And Verify Your Amazon Account
    Date: 9/12/2005 3:05:54 AM Pacific Daylight Time
    From: (removed email hot link which read: "acccount at
    Sent from the Internet (Details)

    ***Urgent Fraud Prevention Group Notice***

    You have received this email because we have strong reason to believe that your Amazon account had been recently compromised. In order to prevent any fraudulent activity from occurring we are required to open an investigation into this matter.     I too got one few weeks back. As I can tell from sight of it, as phishing, I didn't bother much and I SAVED it in Trash folder.

    I got one too. I did my customary fill it in with cus words cuz for some reason it makes me feel better. Childish on my part but satisfactory. Then I reported it.
