Startlogic sites are down...or some. Not sure if it has anything to do with the power outages

I live in Los Angeles, in the black out area. Power was out for 1.5 hours. No clue if my site was down for that time because I had no power. ;-) My site's up now, however.
    Peace,

I have two servers, one on the East cost and the other on the West. Always thought that way I would have a 50/50 chance of sites going down. Good news is (for today), most of my sites are still on the East coast server.

FYI, folks: Startlogic, Dot5, and iPower are all the same outfit.

There's a reason army's wear uniforms even though it makes them easier to spot. Sometimes that's what you want. Uniforms suggest organization, power, and numbers. These, in turn, inspire fear. And, as any good operative knows, there is no more effective weapon than fear.

Oddly enough, most of my ipowerweb sites are still up. One did go out but is back up.

The dot5 site is now back up but two ipower sites are still out.

You know, that is funny. I have two sites with iPowerweb and only one went down.

They are huge. I'm sure they have more than one server farm... each being on different power grids.

Most of the big hosts have multiple redundant power systems. I use EV1Servers.net, and they have separate power from two different grids, plus generators. Their power from both grids was cut off for several days due to a fire in Houston once, and there was no downtime (or perhaps 30 minute, I can't remember).
