    My Wife Cracks Me Up!
Talking about bills on the way home last night, we were trying to figure out how to make more money. We've just had too many expenses recently, and we need some bucks.

Somehow, the conversation drifted from idea to idea to, well sick twisted humor. Finally, her great, eBay-auction-media-attention-feeding-to-a-site-idea was this:

Bottled Farts. She suggested that the sheer variety available would allow for a veritable plethora of skanky smells. There's the ever popular 'just settling into bed for the night' fart, the morning fart, broccoli farts, skanky diaper aroma, pet stinkies, why the product list is endless. I believe her point was, the media might jump on a stupid auction where the seller was bottling farts.

She was grieviously disappointed, alas, when I informed her that www.fartinabottle.com was already regged and being developed.

I'm almost afraid to ask her for her next idea......

EC - your wife obviously has her finger on the pulse of what's marketable. Listen to her from now on. ;-)

Heh, could be a million dollar idea. Who would have thought someone could rich selling rocks as pets. Makes me wonder how that initial conversatoin went: "Sell a rock as a pet? That's stupid! Who in their right mind would buy a rock in a box?" For those of you too young to remember, do a search for "pet rocks", it was a mid 1970's fad.

Sooooo, I guess that begs the question........ do they age well? I mean, do you have to turn the jars like aging wine bottles? This could be an important issue with our new adventure.

"Ah now," EC says, pulling a jar from the wall, "these here Broccoli Farts from '03, they are just about ripe, maybe six to nine more months and we can double the price."

You had better watch out. You're going to make Mr. Sal mad.

Have you forgotten that he has the FartMart website?

What is the best container for capturing the whole fart?
How long do they keep for?
What has been your best method for containing its essence?

    shelf life = 1-3 decades

What about stinky Feet or socks/shoes as well..?
and then there is the SKID MARK Shorts...

Or the Booger of the month club.. $100 for a Monthly Booger..
The first 100 people that sign-up get a Dirty Hanky..

And you could have visitors rating the farts (hmm... RateMyFart . com ) and adding reviews such as : it smellls like he/she had X for lunch, Y for dinner, etc and some Z for dessert.

Well, if we're nominating "donors" I'll throw my black lab in the mix. He knows well how to rip one off and I know just when he'll do it too. I sit in my recliner maybe once a week to watch a movie with my wife and our dog will park his butt behind my recliner and rip away. Now if I can figure how to get them into a jar instead of my nose I'd be all set. If I need to replenish the "stock" I'll just watch more TV. Where do we sign up?

There use to be an ad in a news paper I forget which one, it ran once and a while. It asked people to fart into a ziplock and send it to their address with 1 dollar. And basically the stinkiest fart would get 100 dollars.
