Getting the most out of Afiliate Program??
    Hi,
I have been requested to maximize and improve this company's Affiliate program with CJ.

I have been an affiliate for a while, but don't have much experience as an Affiliate Manager.

What are the things I should look for when looking at the list of publishers and the reports?

Only 10% of our affiliates really bring any business.

Any other tips? How could I bring more qualified affiliates?

    Thanks so much,

    Skuba

    Some quick ideas:
    - Think of putting together a question questionnaire to ask the affiliates what they think of the program. They are your best resource.
    - Even without a questionnaire, talk to your current top affiliates...you'll learn a ton.
    - Post the affiliate URL here and ask from comments.

    Good luck,

I can't go to the seminar, but thanks.

What's the best way to spot the top affiliates? I mean, I know I can see on the reports. But is there a catch if I for instance choose all the ones that performed more than a specific ammount?

How to find out if they are performing well or underperforming? I mean, is there a way I can figure the ideal performance?

Also, I noticed that when I run the comissions report, there are only 167 affiliates there. So does, it mean that the ones that are not there is because they have no comission to earn?

    Thanks,
    Skuba

There is no right answer to what is your "top affiliates". You have to decide that based on the information in front of you AND based on what you want to do with them.

    For example:

I've always called/emailed my top affiliates monthly, just to build the relationship, when possible time wise. In this case I've only got so much time, so in this case, my top affiliates were my top 10-20 performers by orders or sales $$$.

    Hope that makes sense,

    I agree entirely!
