Smartbargains.com jumped the ship. Who's next?

Yeah just got that. I think there will be a lot more jumping around especially next year after the holidays are done with.

The sad thing is that they're jumping back and forth between two defective networks.

And what is worse, they are doing it right now whe folks are busy with their holiday season site building campaigns and don't have time to mess with changing links. I'm not happy with any merchant who changes between August and January.

Wait Till The NEXT CJ Update... Part Two!
Coming To A PC Near You....
Right In The Middle Of The Holiday Shopping Season..!!!!

You Know That Is What CJ Is Going To Do.. Don't You??
They Know That This Would Be The Worst Possible Scenerio For Affiliates And Merchants - But They Continue On Like The Idiots They Have Proven To Be So Many Times Before...! REMEMBER : Last Holiday Season When They Were Down For Three Or Four Days.. In November! Repeat That This Year x5...
Oh and Tracking WILL Always Be affected on a System with NOT Enough Resources to Go Around.....

Maybe they'll have a fresh feed up for once.

That should be good for about two weeks.

CJ would be insane to try to pull off part deux of the upgrade before February, but that doesn't mean they won't. With all the stuff going on at CJ & LS, it makes no sense whatsoever to swtich from one to the other.

Part 1 of upgrade and so many merchants jump ship, 1 month before the big Q4 shopping season.

Part 2 of upgrade.. during Q4? Boy, this is really insane.

Has SmartBargains changed it's affiliate program in any way? I.e. allowing Australian affiliates?

Smartbargains is a parasite partnership aggregrator. Who would care if they got bombed out of existance?

I never received this notification of the changeover to LS. The fact that they are jumping ship from BF is indeed bad news for me as I have a lot of pages for them. This means that I'm going to have to swap over thousands of links in a very short space of time . If it wasn't for the fact that they convert quite well for me, I wouldn't bother. Personally I think they are jumping from the frying pan into the fire by joining LS - then again, none of these networks seem to be perfect these days.

only reason i'd like to partner with smartbargains is coz i registered the .com.au domain name (and then found smartbargains dot com and then researched them... and then found out they're a fairly big online retailer )... but... they support parasites?.

We're confident that everyone will benefit from this network's many enhancements - including new marketing opportunities and state-of-the-art reporting tools.
I cannot even login to LS for most of time. And they call the crap "state-of-the-art reporting tools". Those reports cannot even add numbers correctly.

    Allen,

Actually, I'm a happy, cheerful guy. I just come across differently at the LS forum. LOL

But really, no merchant should be making big changes this time of year, especially switching networks. And that goes in any direction....LS to CJ or CJ to LS.

123 clicks, 8 sales at LS. So they're converting fine over there.
