Piroshki? Ground beef, cheese, and rice, wrapped in dough and deep fried?

Sounds like something we would do here in the southern US!

Then again, this is posted in the "Daily Chuckle", so maybe I'm missing something.

I'm not sure about a Russian hamburger, but when I lived and worked in Germany I worked with a guy from Kazakhstan and he told me he and his friends used to kill stray dogs and eat dog meat, also cat meat, but he preferred dog meat over cat!!!

Gee, and I thought it would be something tacky like "How do you make a Hungarian omelette?" or "How do you make a hormone?"

    2) Wait until you get to France where they it it almost raw (with blood springing under your knife when you cut it)!

its funny you should say that,,
I went to a new Syrian eating house, that just opened
    in pafos last month.
as I normally do when I go to somewhere new like that,
I told the waiter just to feed us the local dishes.
he gave us a plate of raw minced beef mixed with onions and herbs.???
the wife ate most of that one, before I told her what it was..

    nothing ... she liked it.
    it was funny.
It was the opening night of this new place,
    so we went.
before they brought the food the electric went off in the building.
so.. they gave us candles [romantic]
she could not see the food very well after it arrived.[dark]
about 30 mins late,,, as they were trying to fix the lights..
    so she ate it..
then the lights came back on, and HEY PRESTO !! raw mince..
