Search Engines letting me down... outside of affiliate marketing
I was researching for a meeting I have upcoming on Friday regarding at what junctures and events people tend to switch ISPs, and more importantly, how many people switch ISPs when simply moving cross town.

I must've tried 20 different phrases on Google, then 20 more on MSN and Yahoo, and not found one piece of relevant information in the first 10 pages of all my queries.

    So 2 questions.

1.) Where do you all tend to look for statistical information on internet related info...

2.) Why can't the SE's provide better info...

could it be that no one has posted a document to the Web that matches those keywords or phrases?

I myself might go much deeper into the search results, depending on the number of words I used for the search.

It certainly could be that. But with the keywords I used in the phrases, there just has to be something....

and in some instances, this kind of information is rather proprietary, not to be published generally.

I was thinking that Forrester Research or someone would even have a teaser document, with the rest to be downloaded at $800
