Take this down or change the message. Every time by logging in and seeing this I have a feeling that I am dealing with a bunch of morons.

They're just planning ahead for Rita. CJ knew ahead of time it was coming, because they always are proactive about things. You can tell based on their past track record.
Of course, the mid-Atlantic states will be wrong, but you never know, right? I agree, that message should be changed daily when something's awry, or else it just becomes overlooked because it never changes. Even a "Today is Thursday, September 22, 2005 - There are no messages today." would be better.

I suggest they shorten it with a link to the entire information. On my laptop I have to scroll down two pages to see new merchants.
