    Uhmmmm ... thanks a lot!
I was trying to create product links for a merchant who had just sent an email about now having product links available that I needed. Couldn't get them to load without waiting forever and then, the links didn't work. The AM was kind enough to try to help. She contacted Cj who told her: "use the data feed' until things were fixed.

Doesn't CJ CHARGE to use their data feeds?

If my memory is good and the price did not change, they charge you 250$ one time fee right from your account. In exemple if your account is 0$ then you will have (250)$(negative balance) in your account.

Thank you for the explanation SMMB

I wouldn't pay for a data feed for any reason and find it way rude of them to expect me to just to get a product link.

You can ask the merchant to arrange this for you. If you have sales, sometimes they can arrange it for you without charge.

    Rexanne,

try using an exact product name from the advertisers detail page...kinda backwards I know but the search for products is VERY specific.

Thank you Mr B. I got the product I wanted just fine with the search function but the link didn't work. When clicked, it just reloaded the home page on my browser.

you might need to go into the advance settings under get html and change the destination URL. Keep in mind that not every advertiser allows this, but since they have a product catalog they should.

you can also usally add an sid code so that you know what is selling, if you weren't already aware of it.

Just pulled up a test...and the destination URL should already be in place ;-*

let me know if you can't change the destination URL

No tricks..it's actually well documented in the help section. I just double checked...I searched for the word "link"

heading: Get HTML and Change the Destination URL

There is also a little section called CJU online...somethimes they have some timely info there, sometimes it's review...depends how deep you get into this stuff.

Good luck on the links ;-)
