    AE questions from new user
    Hi,

I installed the AE script in my cgi-bin and got it working on two sites.

I have a few questions I hope someone can help with...

One of my sites I would like to install the Amazon store in
the main directory so when I go to my www-mysite-com the store
shows as the landing page. How do I do this?

I saw a nice looking store on AE sales page called plamables.com?
I'd like to build stores like this. It seems this person has
the store set inside a cool looking template.
How can I do the same?

I would like to view "Editorial Reviews" "About the Author" when clicking
    more info, is this posible?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Store as home page: See FAQ: How do I make the Associate Engine Store Directory appear as my home page?

    2. Palmables.com: That is not my website, but I can make a guess as to what the files are. The home page appears to be a static .html file with an SSI to generate the "Best Selling Handhelds" at the top. The "Browse" links are hand-coded (link to ae.pl with various browse nodes of interest). The side navbar links to various static .html files which contain an SSI to generate the center portion of the page showing results for a particular browse search. The 3-column grid format is specified by format=c3 parameter. Setting asinsearch.format "details2" causes local details pages. The overall page format of ae.pl generated pages (such as local details pages) is in the custom ae.html page template.

    3. Local details pages: Set asinsearch.format to one of the details* format templates, such as "details6"
