    Question How long does it take SAS to activate a merchant?
    Heya gang,
    I've been reading alot of very informative posts here. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes SAS to actually review and activate your account?

    We're taking two sites live with them as the affiliate platform and it's been 3 days now with no response, no phone calls, no email returns. Is this normal? What else should I expect? We have another 2 or 3 sites that we want to take live with them in the future.

    I'd also like any suggestions affiliates may have to help merchants get off to a good start.

    What we've picked up so far:
    - Keep a decent balance in your account.
    - Setup auto-refill (once we trust SAS we will).
    - Pay a reasonable commission. Honor it.
    - Don't do any aff adv. yourself (which we don't)
    - Don't try to screw your affiliates. (common sense you'd think)
    - Build a data feed, it helps your affiliates. (we'll do this)
    - Build banners of a few sizes and topics for your affiliates.
    - Individually review and screen your affiliates or you'll wind up with a****les and sp**mers in your program.

    What else can we do to have a successful launch?

    I am in the same boat as you. I joined on Monday morning and requested them to activate the campaign. It is still not activated. On the site it says to email them if nothing happens within 24 hours. I did that and no reply. I am not sure why it is taking them so long to do this if it says it takes a few hours on the site.

    Thanks for the response. Is there are a chance that they will still be approving them today or its something they might do tomorrow or Friday?

    I completely understand and greatly appreciate the follow up. It's hard to be everywhere at once. It's even harder when your body is on strike.

    They still didn't activate mine from Monday. So hopefully they do it today.

    They got both of mine last nite in the early AM. I think I actually signed up over the weekend.
