    Haiko...
Umm...I would have happily deleted my post. I didn't know I was doing something wrong. I got a free invite from a merchant and hadn't heard of it. I'm sorry I hit a hot button. I thought since I've been getting all sorts of stuff from merchants that it was a big thing. And I saw the recent post http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread...481#post488481 and again felt that this was something people were 'in to'.

    I'm really sorry.

Well, now I know I'm in the thick of it. Haiko read and left. I may as well leave ABW now. I really can't deal with unwittingly pissing of the admin and then being shunned like I did it on purpose. As my hubby tells me, I'm sweet, but can be a real clueless ditz sometimes. And that's how I get in trouble.... I'm sorry that I don't know all the 'bad AM' things. I try to read to keep up, but I do have a life outside of this stuff. I DID see one recent post, and know of some ABWers attending, so I really didn't know I was doing something wrong. Maybe there should be a list of topics in the Forum Rules that ARE NOT to be brought up....

Don't leave! Haiko will get over it.

I know he didn't mean anything personal about it. He just disapproves of the people responsible for the expo.

No I don't want you to leave at all and actually want to appologize to you, who got the wrath of my anger. I didn't mean to "direct it" at you, so I'm sorry.

But, I really do mean what I said. People[affiliates] can't have it both ways - these parasites are making money off this and they will use that for new media buys and code improvements to steal more from you in Q4.

There is no free lunch and most definately not one from a thief!

That being said, I am 100% against the expo's orginzers, and sponsors. To make it clearly evident ... I consider it a personal insult to the many who have fought so long and hard against parasites and forught for change and reform, as such I request that no one posts anything about the expo.

For those who need more information, I may suggest you read:

Read what's happening to us as AFFILIATE.
    http://www.pcworld.com/news/article...495,pg,1,00.asp
Haiko spent his time and money to educate the affiliates, to promote a safe and honest market place for all, merchants, AMs and affiliates and then you have the others.
Others include some Affiliate Managers, they are not all created equal, some merchants, networks and parasites. The parasites are getting so strong, they can organize conventions to promote their own way of life. Stealing from others. You'll find them in the PC World article and others.
Many affiliates participating at these meetings don't know really who is behind and why they are organizing such conventions. They are trying to legitimize their business model. I don't think we need to give them such a big help. With the truth spreading in magazines, it will be harder for these thieves to hide their dirty activities.
