    New CJ PSA: "Special" Account Designations
    "You Agree To: (iv) designate Your Publisher Account as “special” if You promote an Advertiser(s) by any means other than displaying a Link to the Advertiser on Your Web site."

    Does a publisher who uses PPC to drive traffic need to designate their account as special, and if so, how does he/she go about doing so?

    Depends on the venue you buy that PPC, I guess

    To answer your Q - I'd assume you login, click on account, then web site settings, slect the applicable website and click edit under the incentive/special heading on the right.

    My interpretation of that is that if you point your PPC ads to your own page with affiliate links on it, then no, you do not have to designate your operation as "special".

    If you do direct-to-merchant PPC I would say you do have to.

    That's how I see it anyway.
