Why Can I NOT Run a Commission Detail Report by Event Date?!!
Probably old news for some, but I'm really irritated that I still cannot run the commission detail report by event date for, say, all of August, for any one particular merchant. All I get is a stinking error, and I've seen that message for weeks now. It tells me the problem was logged (sure ), so why hasn't it been addressed?

Hmmm, I just logged into an account and ran severa reports for Commission Detail by Event Date for all and specific advertisers and there were no problems. Have you contacted Client Services about this? It might be something specifc to your account. They can walk through what you are doing and see if they can duplicate or determine the issue.

Ditto. Ran a Commission Detail for August by Event Date, and also for July. Both worked without a problem.

The even fixed the downloading problem. Before you could only download reports by Posting Date. Now you can download reports by Event Date too.

Alrighty then... glad it's specific to me I suppose... I'll put a ticket in soon. Thanks guys.

Edit: what do you know... I try it again and it works just fine. After almost 2 months of not working! I need to keep trying this complaining thing...

I'm getting the errors this morning.

Commission Detail, Ebay, Event Date, any time range (today, yesterday, this week) results in the following:

There was an error processing your request.

The incident has been logged and we are working to correct the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Reports by posting date are fine.

I would report it to CJ, but the (VERY) few occasions I ever get an email response from CJ on any issue it's always 4-6 days after the fact, and a canned response saying that there are no problems and that it's my error.

TicketGuyz - Why Can I NOT Run a Commission Detail Report by Event Date?!!
I'll say it's because you first check your Commission Detail Report by Posting Date.
Each time you check your commission changing Event by Posting or Vice Versa they have a pb because they dont refresh their query (and yr commission for one day is not always the same according the Posting or Event Date).
Each time I've an error message sent to them. Never got an answer, and I'm not expecting one ANYMORE.
I have that problem from their crazy update (SEVERAL MONTHS NOW) but they are too dumb to solve the problem.
