    can this be done?
    Is it possible to save a datafeed as pipe delimited in microsoft excell?

    If it is could someone please tell me how to do it?

    It is a csv file editor. You can work with nearly any format and convert it however you want. It Rocks!!!

    I would save it in Excel as a tab delimited document, then open it in Word and search for ^t and replace it with |. Use Ctrl H for the search and replace function.

    That'll replace the tab delimiter with a pipe.

    The only bad on that is you'll loose the tabs you want to keep if there are any and you'll also bog your computer down pretty slow if it's a large file.

    Look for CSVdb, its a free download (last I checked) and it's a nifty little program. You can save feeds as pipe delimited text or csv files.

    You could use TextPipe (from DataMystic) to convert pipe-delimited to CSV or vice-versa - it handles files of unlimited size.
