    Actually its 460 million. the other 301 million will go to advertising of Rhapsody on MSN. Every MSN user who signs up for Rhapsody lowers the 301 million.

    Wow, and they paid $775m and $2 billion to IBM and Sun respectively. This monopoly is finally starting to take it's toll on Microsoft. Now with Sun and Google teaming up, Microsoft just may have some problems. I think their reign in software is coming to an end.

    If you think about it. MS just made their MONOPOLY stronger.
    One of the conditions of the settlement is that REAL NETWORKS will not help the EU or any goverment agency in any ANTI THRUST case against MS.
