    Red face WM-Field: Name help for a beginner
    Hola folks,

    I'll cut to the chase - I have the trial version and am trying to see if WM works with my current website & all before buying it. So far things'r looking good; the index file is working, and so far the detail page is as well.

    The fields in the detail pages are pretty good. However, I have a link on that page to a cgi bin shopping cart. Once something is posted to the cgi bin one of the places for WM-Field: gets cut off. On the details page, using the [WM-Field: Name] field produces the correct output (i.e. "Fancy boxed widget"). But once in the cgi bin shopping cart, in the location where it should say "Fancy boxed widget" it only says "Fancy"...the rest gets cut off.

    Sorry if this is a noob question but I am learning from the ground up.

    Hmmm....offhand it sounds like maybe the file isn't being parsed correctly.
    You might want to double-check the delimiters used in the Sources tab to make sure they match what's in the file. The preview area there will help you determine how well it's parsing the data based on your settings.

    Actually I was able to find out what was wrong. I added quotes to the [WM-Field: Name]" as seen below, and it worked:

    <input type="hidden" name="name" value="[WM-Field: Name]">

    I had removed them I think because the price field doesn't need them to work correctly:

    <input type="hidden" name="price" value=[WM-Field: price]>

    Thanks anyway for your help, Richard. If I go ahead and purchase the program I'm sure I will have more questions.
