October 15th, 2005, 01:34 PM #1Tiger Direct lawsuits of past
I read a thread on here quite a while back about Tiger Direct suing some guy in china over his use of the word tiger. Turns out the guy had been in business long before Tiger Direct came along.
Anyone familiar with this lawsuit? Any help would be appreciated.
edited to add: I did a search and couldn't find it either.Deleted

Thanks... I ran across another forum where the guy (who started the forum) is having trouble with google. Seems he registered googletalk.com and google is trying to take it from him. However, they seem to have no interest in google-watch.com, so I am a bit confused about their motive. Is it simply to take a domain name with the name google in it, or do they want the domain so they can use it for some plans they have. i.e. googletalk.google.com and a redirect from googletalk.com to the googletalk.google.com subdomain.
Thought the tiger direct case was similar. Maybe not.Deleted
