October 18th, 2005, 08:09 PM #1Hi my name is David! and I'm addicted to this stupid Monopoly Game from McDees
Another year, another relapse. I don't particulary like McDonalds food so it has the be this stupid Monopoly game. I find myself taking out my friends to lunch at McDees and swiping there game pieces. I actually asked the kid behind the counter to slip me some extra pieces. Sad, I know. :
Why do you tempt me so? why?...
I know why! I won a cd player in the late 90's and got hooked.
I would love to hear some stories if any one won anything from this McDonald Monopoly game. The New Season is here.
oh yeah before I forget anyone got Boardwalk?

I am sooooo there with you.
Is there a 12 step program we could join?
Oh wait, 12 steps would kill me ... I'd be winded at three.
Sigh ... now I feel sad ... I know!!! A large fries, med drink and a hot fudge sundae with extra topping will make me feel better!!
Oh and btw, so far all I have to show for this addiction is about a half dozen small coffees, a couple of fruitopia, and a free roll of digital prints and a downloadable game from playing online with the codes on the game pieces.
Definitely not a good return on my funds lol
Back in a bit!================================================================
Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Years ago my friend's Mom got something from McD's along with a Monopoly gamepiece. She stuck the gamepiece in her pocket and forgot about it. Months later she sees the gamepiece, opens it and finds that she is an instant $1000 winner. Bad news is that it was past the deadline so she couldn't collect it.

I just threw out a bunch of game pieces my kids left on the dining room table but didn't look to see which ones they were. Hmmmmmmmmm ... maybe they'll start auctioning them off on eBay?Peace,

PopDawg, Good to hear from fellow addicts. McDonalds should have a monopoly hotline, like the state government for lottery addiction. Folks, these are the jokes!!
I been good to my diet and I decided to do something that will make me feel okay with playing this monopoly game. There is some homeless people who probably would appreciate a good meal even if it's from McDees. So I'll buy lunch and delivery it to the homeless on my lunch break (minus the game pieces). That way I'm not eating this "supersize me" food and I'm not wasting it either.
>>Thought to self: "I wonder if the Homeless will get addicted to there food?"
