    That's just too funny!

They even labeled the map wrong to see if anybody catches on. I can't believe these people thought Australia was North Korea!

Considering the video is a FAKE cnn broadcast, I would be leery of whether the rest of it was legit...

I noticed it's not really CNN but I figured it was some no-name station going around with incorrect maps trying to trick people. The sentiments may still be authentic. In any event it's funny!

Gotta read through all the flamey comments on the site

Buried among them were the pointers:

    The CNN logo's wrong ("CNNNN")
Read the "ticker" going on as the "story" runs. (It's a ticker of nothing but joke headlines.)

I replayed the video when I read that, and sure enough, it's a totally bogus "broadcast." But, they *may* (or may not) have included real people in the skit--like JayWalking does.

The sentiments may still be authentic. In any event it's funny!
    It is indeed funny!

I'm hoping those interviewees were actors, but...50% (or 49.9999999%) of people are below average, by definition, so they really might have fallen for that fake map!

They are not actors, they are real people. The reporter is a hoax comic reporter, but the show does go on the street and ask the public these questions, the homepage is

    http://abc.net.au/cnnnn/

Check out the following sketch, "CNNNN discovers Americans support war on Kyrgyzstan, 'wherever it may be' The difficulties experienced in Iraq have not put Americans off going to war again, CNNNN's Julian Morrow found when he surveyed people on the streets of Texas."

    http://www.abc.net.au/cnnnn/news/s971880.htm

Some people are that stupid. I remember watching a night show a couple years ago, they did the same thing, sent a camera to the street with a reporter asking people to name the President of the US, a woman in her mid 20's could not name the President, her reply was, "I'm not into politics".
