    Calling all testers: v2.4.1
Over the last few days I've made significant revisions to the way WebMerge generates tables. While v2.4 had greatly improved the generated table code, we recently found some combinations of tags, esp. in conjunction with the WM-IndexLabel tag, which resulted in the table not having its closing </table> tag.

I believe this is now corrected, but before I go public with this release it would be helpful for you folks to run it through its paces to make sure it's all working well.

These links are to the application only. To use, just download and place in your current WebMerge program folder (you may wish to rename your copy of the v2.4 app first to keep it around as a backup if needed).

    Windows:

    OS X:

    Thanks in advance.

If this works out well we can post v2.4.1 publicly, and then I can finish the work needed for v2.5.

    .

have been working around this issue in various ways, but very happy to hear this has finally been resolved. shall test and revert.

one can do marvels with WM as it stands now, and I am very excited at the potential of the forthcoming new version, with all the new features as promised before - (promises, promises . . .)

I can't get the new version to handle a data file of 30K records. After processing the first settings file it just stops. If I run it in test mode for 10 or 20 records, it can handle all four settings file properly.

The last stable file (2.4) works fine.

Are you running the same files on the same system with the new version?

Yes. (Sorry, I didn't see the question until today and I am trying to remember which data feed it was - so many feeds, so little time).
