I use it. I like it.

Almost all of the information it gathers, you can do "by hand", but it will take you a lot longer.

If you only have one web site, probably not worthwhile. If you're always working on multiple sites and launching new ones, it's handy.

just like infoTime said... everything it does, you can do yourself, but it will take you a LOT longer.

That being said, I use it and like it and recommend it if you're serious about AM and don't want to waste your valuable time doing everything yourself; let the tool get the info for you so you can spend your time building pages, improving quality, etc.

That's the best reply you can get, Nicola. Still hesitating?

I didn't pay $167 for it! I must have gotten a much better deal somewhere, or the price has gone up since then.

    Thank You guys.

Geno: i am just looking if the spend is worth.... $167 are not peanuts and this is the first time i hear about that tool... do you think am i wrong just for investigating a lot more before putting $167 on the table?

infoTim: where did you purchase the tool for a lower price?

Went back and found the reciept from 9 months ago, I guess I did shell out $167 for it. :-) I was thinking of another s/w package. Anyway, I would still say it's worthwhile if you handle multiple sites and are really serious about working on big-picture SEO. If you're not sure, check out Brad's mailing list at http://www.seoelite.com. He'll send you a series of SEO tips, some of them are obvious some of them aren't, but he'll walk through the manual activities that you can use the software to automate. The software isn't magic, just a big time saver. I have a real distaste for e-product marketing weenies, so it pains me to give this one a thumbs-up, but I will. :-)

Absolutely...a piece of software is not going to take the place of learning SEO.

She wouldn't be able to get it, westgroup (you have to have at least [Sorry, the actual number is classified] posts to be able to send/receive PMs, remember?) E-mail her.

I was interested in SEO Elite and, as I usually like to try out software before parting with any money, clicked on several of the many ads for a 7-day free trial. They all seemed to link back to the sales page and I couldn't see any 'Trial Download' links, just ones to buy. It put me off SEO Elite a little, as I felt that if they lied about the trial then what else is a lie in the sales copy? Maybe it was me being stupid and not finding the trial download link though

Give Web CEO a try, after all it's free and does a bang up job.
It's the only SEO software I use on my site.

Has anyone else pulled this down lately? The download page doesn't work.

The download doesn't work in firefox or internet explorer for www.webceo.com.

As for SEO Elite, I never did have a free download. I got it by looking at what it could do when I used Brad Callen's free lessons. By going through the lessons it was clear that it could be a handy little thing. I'd say I've been using it now for 1-1/2 years. I have to say I love it. I use it all the time and by following his lessons I went from not being found on the internet for my keywords to quickly finding myself on the 1st and 2nd pages for all of them. I was amazed and I saw the changes in as little as 2 weeks and then I began tweaking and in two months everything changed. Like the first few posts said, you can do it all manually but with SEO Elite you can manage all the other sites you study in a number of ways and save the result to refer back to when doing an analysis of other sites.

Like I said, I never saw a free trial and I never ever regretted the purchase.
