I want to get rid of this upper respiratory infection <cough cough> so that if we do get snow, I can enjoy it!

I want enough fuel in the house tank so I don't shudder every time I look out the window.

We have a wood stove and three cords of firewood. Not too worried about getting cold indoors. Outdoors is another story.

The snow is so close to us but nothing yet. It looks like just the higher elevations are getting it NY with a few exceptions. Rochester is losing the contest BTW as of yesterday

    Snow, what's snow??

Oh, I remember -- it's that cold-looking white stuff I can sometimes see on the mountains around here in L.A.

Reminds me of when my dad was stationed at Ft. Drum in upstate NY for one year. Moved up there from Orlando and me and my brother were outside jumping up and down when it started to snow. Then months and months later didn't like it as much after 30 below 0 temps and me having to shovel it every day. Fun football playing weather tho

    Nah Susan,

Montreal doesn't compare to Syracuse when it comes to snow Maybe for how cold it is though

Trust, Fort Drum and the Watertown area definately gets their share of the snow every year.

Heh, alright then, why don't we make this winter a contest. We can measure how much snow falls on a monthly basis, post it. Say in April, we tally it up and the Loser buys dinner in the winner's home town....

    Take that bait and

Now, now people, it's like you're arguing over who has the worst case of boils!

I'm not going to compete because if I had the misfortune to win the prize dinner would be poor consolation. I think the prize should be a week's paid vacation in a warm climate.

    Susan,

Lol to the bait and ! April might be a bit early to call it though! A bet sounds like fun though It has to be official stats though, which as a matter of fact I just happen to keep

    Rhea,

It's fun betting on who has the crappiest weather Your city will definately be in the run for it. Well second or third place anyways

    City? Hahahaha!

I live in the middle of nowhere. One traffic light and it's a blinker. There are fewer than 5,000 people living here and the farm animals likely outnumber the humans.

I bet I could beat both of you though on low winter temperature.
