YIPES! W Drake links redirecting and dying
I've only seen this problem so far with a W. Drake link. It doesn't seem to matter which of the CJ domains is used for the original link.

The connection redirects to a domain owned by CJ, a domain name I've never seen before. The URL contains a lot of characters. It doesn't resolve to the product page or even to WD's site. It just says "done" and shows a blank screen.

Can someone else confirm what I'm seeing?

I get the following notice when I click on the link...

Am I missing something - I didn't get a Walter Drake deactification notice, my Walter Drake links seem to all be working and I make a good part of my CJ money from Walter Drake sales???

Good thing I hadn't started taking my W. Drake links down. Apparently nabeelk was misinformed. My bad for not checking it out immediately.

According to CJ's "Deactivated Advertisers" listing W. Drake is not inactive.

They might have been deactivated earlier today, but they're back to Active status now.

They were indeed deactivated for some hours. Enough time for me to finally get motivated to find replacements for the categories of their products I still carry. Basically, they've been reverse maniacs for months, but I hardly have any sales left with them. Replaced one category with Pfaltzgraff products, one with some HomeVision products, and another with TableTools. I'd miss the commission structure, but it's been ages since a sale stuck with them anyway.

By the time I finished replacing them, they were active again. ModernRugs.com was also offline during that time. The few links left to them came down, too.

My apologies to nabeelk for thinking s/he'd had a hallucination.

I wish, when a merchant is deactivated and reactivated, that CJ would provide a permanent record that this took place instead of removing all traces. Bad bookkeeping, IMHO.
