This decision pushes BC into the top spot on my new sportswear site.
I am glad to be able to work with you Chuck. Tools really aren't my thing as an affiliate.

Well done Chuck. I must try to find another niche site for you.

Why would any merchant seek doing business with a bankrupt BHO Super Affiliate doing "feel good" cause marketing? Schoolpop is Chapter 7 bankrupt leaving their value-add proposition in limbo, and opening the potential for a negative branding reaction from their "cause" marketing victims. None of those duped schools are now going to get a dime out of this one unless they can be sold to some other Adwhore operation.

Look at the positive side when the real backlash crap hits the fan. The Bankruptsy court gets to look under the covers of a network sponsored "incentive" BHO sniffing out the money flow trail, trying to find some cash they can recover for the creditors and bilked Schoolpop member & causes. The merchants supporting this theftware get a black eye with millions of shoppers effected by their reward spiffs not getting freebies for the schools.... making them think twice about incentive BHO's. Also little Johnny won't have a free Schoolpop bat to use on the perps when their school bus shows up at the BHO's headquarters to join the picket line of angry demonstrators.

I may be way off base here (and I hope I am), but the cynic in me wonders whether this termination was a genuine attempt to clean up the program or whether it was because of the bankruptcy.

I doubt very much it is an attempt to clean up their program Michael. Have you ever known a thief have pangs of guilt? The cynic in me tells me this is pure and simply a way out for them so they don't have to pay all the schools they promised their ill-gotten monies to. They are nothing but another scumbag, I hope to hell the Law people find something illegal and send the assoles to jail. Good riddence is all I have to say for them.

Having spoken with Chuck personally regarding parasites right after he started with ToolKing and having seen his consistent actions along these lines, I'd have to say a genuine attempt to clean up the program. Very doubtful it had anything to do with the bankruptcy thing.
