    I'm So Proud
My step nephew has had Baltimore Oriole scouts watching him. He's only just starting his junior year. No minor leagues for this boy. I'm so proud of him.

Great ...hope he makes the big leagues. I watched last nights World Series game and it's on now. Last nights opening group of 4 singers sure made a hit song appearence. "The Heart of America" sounded like a "We are the World" type song.... Great song with Michael McDonald -One of the Judds, a female black singer and young black guy. Errin Nevell sang the National Anthiew right after the performance. Then came a great game. Hope your son gets in one.

Cool X 1000000! Wowsers! I had no idea ... maybe we can send him a few work out shirts with member's logos for pre-game exposure. - Think outside the box and re-invent ... oh sorry, yes I'm saying that shoot again.

Much Pride from Uncle Haiko ... I know I'm not an Uncle but much pride, nonetheless.

Tell him don't quit school though. Very rarely do any players skip the minors. I was scouted in HS even signed with a team but injury made me get 0 dollars.

We're really proud of him. He loves baseball. He's been very focused on doing this and it's great to see him getting this type of recognition now. He's also keeping his grades up. A really sweet kid.

Trust I'm going for the autographed baseball that I can sell on Ebay after he pitches a no hitter in the World Series.

    Trouble maker but ... even
Sorry...but I love those freudian typos.

Should be able to catch him on TV this coming season since he's playing for AL this year. I'm sure I'll be letting everyone know when he's on TV.

HG..you are very right. He is very grounded and his parents are very supportative but they are also keeping him realistic. They'd kick his butt for good if he quit school.

Awesome. Great start on life ... my daughter's B/F is already recruited into the majors (sorry - no clue which team ... she doesn't tell me THAT much LOL - When I get a chance to actually have a conversation with the guy, I'll find out myself). He's a junior in college, too - playing for UCLA now. He knows he's set for life and appreciates it.
BIG congrats to your nephew! LOVE the good news.
    Peace,

neat story.. I spoke with a guy on the phone the other day and he started telling me similar story about his son pitching in HS. senior. He is going to UAB next year with hopes of some day signing with a MLB club. That has to be as exciting if not more the the parents of the kid.

My son just finished his 1st year of T-Ball and my cystal ball tells me he's gonna be a fireballer for the NY Yankees one day, but my crystal ball has failed me before!
