...call you October 27th to let you know they have just added Halloween creative and are wondering why you aren't promoting them.
This after trying to contact them about gearing up for Halloween from early May to late August with no response.================================================================
Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Reminds me of a gift basket merchant I was promoting last year. Sales were great, rocking along for a year ... then, my biggest basket selling time (Easter) and I begged her to replace the Valentine's Day landing page (home page where all links led) a few weeks after VDAY and Easter was fast approaching. I think she finally changed the displayed baskets to Easter a week before Easter Sunday. Not before I took all her links off my pages and replaced them with a merchant who was on top of it. Geeeeeeze. I generated thousands of dollars for this merchant the year before with Easter baskets plus plenty more for subsequent holidays. Not only did she lose my sales, she had to have lost thousands more. Drove me totally crazy that she wouldn't answer email either. I have to assume the traffic and sales were just too much for her to handle. But damn ... how does someone go into businesss without a plan for growth?!!!
It's a good idea to monitor your seasonal merchants for updates. And yeah ... Halloween at this late date? It's all over but the trick-or-treating and Halloween sales are done until next year. This ain't the local mall.Peace,
